Wisdom Chapp-Jumbo, a public affairs analyst, has said that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar did not join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for fun, noting that his long-time ambition to become president is already known.
Speaking in a video shared by NEWS CENTRAL TV, he said the All Progressives Congress (APC) has no reason to worry about the ADC, but added that the ADC should focus more on its internal issues and unity.
He also said that things in the party will become clearer as the primaries approach, when candidates begin to emerge. According to him, Atiku’s involvement in the ADC is serious and should not be taken lightly.
He said,
“We will see how things will begin to pan out towards the primaries by the time one person gets it, which we know who is going to get it, by the way. Alhaji Atiku did not join ADC for funfair, and we know he has always wanted to be president.”
