Ndirang viewed Tinubu’s administration as illegitimate and urged caution in the circumstances. This is due to the fact that Tinubu’s victory is currently being contested in court by Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party.
He predicts that if Tinubu is sworn in as president of Nigeria, there will be a sense of foreboding stillness that has never been seen in the history of the country. No matter how long Tinubu’s term is, he claims that the legitimacy question will be a never-ending conflict for him.
