FAMILY

Kashamu was born on November 7, 1996 in Banjul, Gambia. He is the son of the late politician and businessman, Senator Buruji Kashamu, who represented Ogun East in the eighth Senate.

EDUCATION

Kashamu attended Greesspring Secondary school in Ajah, Lagos and thereafter proceeded to Brunel University, London, where he had a B.Sc in International Business and Management.

He also got a Master of Science degree in International Finance and Investment at the University of Surrey.

CAREER

Kashamu’s Carrer started after his one-year compulsory National Youth Service Corps at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Nigeria.

After that, he worked at BWC Group of Companies with interests in real estate, hospitality and the automobile industry.

He joined politics in 2023, with passion and also to ride on his father legacy, according to him.

Kashamu contested and won the House of Assembly seat to represent Ijebu North Constituency I, in Ogun State under the People’s Democratic Party.
