The Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) has condemned the physical attack on its ex-Vice Chancellor Prof. Abdullahi Zuru during the just concluded Adamawa State supplementary governorship poll. In a statement on Wednesday, UDUS Vice Chancellor Lawal Bilbis described the attack as not only barbaric but very dehumanising. He said: “On behalf of all staff and students of the University, we call on the Federal Government to launch a speedy and incisive investigation with a view to uncovering, apprehending and prosecuting the masterminds and field agents of the dastardly attack within the shortest possible time.”
