The facility needed immediate repairs, according to the governor, who assessed the building at 18 Femi Okunnu Street, formerly Cooper Road, in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The statement claims that the 68-room former Governor’s Lodge property was purchased by the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke and is now managed by the Osun State Investment Company Limited.

“The committee I set up had briefed me on the poor state of most of the properties. The Osun house project in Abuja was totally abandoned and I had to hold a special meeting with the contractor on how to complete the project.”
