“Our priority should be to promote peace, religious and ethnic harmony, and coexistence.” These are currently the most crucial factors,” said the Labour Party’s flag bearer. “Let us work together to create a peaceful and tranquil Nigeria in which the government can effectively address the challenges that our people face,” he continued.

It is worth noting that Peter Obi, his party, and his supporters, known as Obidients, have rejected the results of the recently ended presidential election, which declared Bola Tinubu of the APC as the president-elect.

Although Obi finished third in the presidential election, trailing only Bola Tinubu of the ruling party and Atiku Abubakar of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, he is questioning the latter’s victory in the just concluded election.

Obi has committed to take legal action to invalidate Tinubu’s victory, claiming that the electoral authority was tainted and manipulated the results. In several public appearances, he has called for the election results to be annulled.

Obi said during a press conference in Abuja on March 2 that the election was staged to produce a predetermined outcome. The former governor of Anambra state also claimed that the election did not fulfill the criteria for credibility, claiming that there is proof suggesting his own triumph.
