Abdullahi had said, “If what you have mentioned are anything to go by, then chances are that the election is won by the PDP, because the contentions here are the issues that you have enumerated. We believe what we have tabled before the Tribunal is good enough to have this election cancelled.”
Abdullahi, who spoke during an interview on Arise Television, reacted to the victory of Senator Ademola Adeleke at the Supreme Court. According to him, Adeleke won the election, and it was meaniless for Oyetola to challenge his victory in the first place. He expressed optimism that the outcome of the case against Tinubu and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) would favour the PDP.
Abdullahi, who reacted to the fact that the Supreme Court based its judgement on the fact that the list of Registered Voters corresponded with the number of votes that were garnered by each political party during the 2022 Osun governorship election, hinted that there was a foul play in the February 25, 2023 Presidential election, hence, there is merit in Atiku’s petition against INEC and Tinubu.
