Only a small number of students are chosen to graduate from any institution. Few educators are more fortunate to teach these pupils at either level of education. Dr. Eli Joseph, on the other hand, is one of the very few teachers who teaches at both colleges at the same time. In addition to Columbia University, NYU, and UCLA, he will be teaching at Dartmouth College’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
Despite his many triumphs, Dr. Joseph has experienced failure and rejection. Over the course of his career, he has been turned down by over 1,500 jobs, 30 institutions, and 75 scholarship foundations. He was rejected from other prestigious colleges such as Princeton, UPenn, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, and Brown University.
Joseph received a letter of rejection from Columbia University in 2012. He is now an associate professor in the applied analytics department at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies.
Joseph was also denied by the New York University Tandon School of Engineering in 2016. In the present day, he teaches graduate students at the NYU School of Professional Studies.
Additionally, he has seen thousands of rejection notices from various firms in finance, technology, and managerial consulting. Some of these companies include JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Google, Amazon, Facebook, BCG, McKinsey, Deloitte, and Bain.
Despite receiving numerous rejections from various firms and institutions, Joseph has successfully surmounted a variety of personal and professional hurdles, including the recent loss of his older brother last year.

This past fall, he gave two TEDx lectures titled “Time Is Your Biggest Competitor” and “No Trace, No Case.” He is now one of the World Economic Forum Expert Network’s youngest members. Joseph intends to work with many other outstanding scholars in the near future to create real solutions that will assist firms from many industries, so improving the wellbeing of both people and organizations worldwide….CONTINUE READING
