Abuja-based businesswoman Kemi Ogbebor finally received the sum of N600,000 in her Access Bank account, one month after a client sent the money via a DotPay point of sale (POS) terminal on March 11.

When Ogbebor contacted the Access Bank customer support center, she was informed that the money was hanging due to the merger between Access and Diamond banks. After much frustration, Access Bank’s public relations officer, Abdul Imoyo, assured FIJ that the issue would be investigated.
Finally, on Monday, April 17, Ogbebor confirmed that her account was credited with the N600,000 at noon. The delay in the payment of the money has caused great inconvenience and stress for the businesswoman, who expressed her gratitude towards the media for intervening in the matter….CONTINUE READING
