Emphasizing past victories over candidates backed by Peter Obi, he conveyed optimism that APGA would repeat its success in the upcoming 2025 election.

Referring to Peter Obi’s potential candidate, Valentine Ozigbo, Obi-Okoye remarked, “The Obidient man (Obi), APGA has beaten him twice.”
