According to him, this is because the ex-PMS boss who has been declared wanted by the police was empowered by the governor.

The APC chieftain charged the police to investigate the primary source of arms and ammunition, which were recovered from the Ibadan residence of Auxiliary because Oyo citizens want to know who bought those weapons for them.

“Auxiliary is a political ally of Governor Seyi Makinde. They started their alliance in 2019 and they’ve always been together for years. We have seen Governor Seyi Makinde and Auxiliary together both in campaigns, rallies, and public functions.

Repete further stated that Governor Makinde destroyed the working security architecture he inherited from his predecessor, the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi because of politics and selfish interests.

While commending the police for their quick response which prevented the state from sliding into anarchy, Repete appealed to the Commissioner of Police in the state to beef up security and order a comprehensive investigation to unravel the root cause of this emerging doom.
