The state NSCDC Commandant, Mr Muhammed Ibrahim, inaugurated the newly built divisional office.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the building and a patrol vehicle were donated to the NSCDC by Isolo-Opin community.
The traditional ruler of the community, Oba Raphael Sunday Are, the Asolo of Isolo, commended the officers and men of the corps working in division.
The Oba noted that the community deemed it fit to provide an enabling environment for the NSCDC personnel so as to enhance their performance.
He commended the effort of the NSCDC towards fighting banditry, kidnapping and armed robbery in the area.
The traditional ruler however urged the corps to build on their existing gallantry disposition against crimes and criminality in the community.
He pleaded with the corps to furnish the division with the necessary arms and ammunition, so as to empower the officers towards fighting crimes in the community.
The Oba promised an unwavering support and cooperation with the officers of the corps.
Responding, Ibrahim appreciated the community on behalf of the officers and the Commandant General of NSCDC, Dr Abubakar Audi.
He assured the community of a continuous and better services from the corps.
