BREAKING: Tribunal Quashes Beni Lar’s Election, Declares APC’s Bulus Winner Of Langtang North/South Reps Seat

The Tribunal Judge declared Hon. Vincent of the All Progressives Congress, APC, winner of the said election.

Hon Beni Lar is a fifth-term member of the Federal House of Representatives.

Similarly, the National Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal sitting in Jos has nullified the election of a two-term member of the House of Representatives in Plateau state, Dachung Musa Bagos.

Bagos is representing Jos South/Jos East Federal constituency at the National Assembly, who was elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party during the February 25 National Assembly poll.

In nullifying the Bagos election, the tribunal Judge declared the Labour Party candidate, Ajang Alfred as the rightful winner of the polls and ruled that the PDP candidate was not validly nominated by his party to contest the poll.

Bagos is the third PDP candidate his election had been nullified in the state by the tribunal.

The others were Senator Napoleon Bali who is representing Plateau South at the Senate and Peter Gyengdeng who was representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal constituency at the National Assembly….CONTINUE READING
