Davido further revealed that despite some delays due to Asake’s touring schedule, the collaboration came together.
“Shout-out to Asake. I am a very big fan of him and his story and just the way he just came out and just scattered everywhere,” he said.
“I was like, ‘Ah I have to get him on my album’. With just his style and everything, I just wanted to work with him. So, I dm the boss man Badoo. I did not write Asake first o. I went to my brother first. So, I wrote Olamide. I was like Badoo, ‘I’m doing my album I need Asake on a verse o’. I did not even think Asake would give anybody a verse, so Badoo was just like, ‘send the song’,” Davido added.
The single with Asake’s collaboration titled, ‘NO COMPETITION,’ is NO. 13 on the newly-released project.
In addition, the album, ‘Timeless,’ has since garnered over a million streams on all music streaming platforms, and also recieved international recognition in the United Kingdom, as well as, the United States of America…..CONTINUE READING
