According to him, it is probably because the PDP went scot-free that the likes of John Akans could muster the courage to say that there would be crisis if the governorship election petition tribunal in the state gives any judgement contrary to their interest.

Shittu pointed out that since the outcome of the governorship election, the general mood in the state is that of grief and anguish noting that even the half-hearted celebration by the PDP has continued to remain unnoticed.

The campaign council spokesman described as mere rantings, the statement that the PDP lawyers are fully prepared to rubbish the APC governorship petition.
