However, in a viral video responding to the recent incident, Seun Kuti’s sister, Motunrayo, argued that his brother was not guilty of any crime because he couldn’t simply approach a police officer and hit them.
Motunrayo added that her family had experienced police abuse before and that no one would just rise up and smack a police officer without a fight.
She reportedly said, “I don’t know why some people are offended that I am supporting my brother,” according to Motunrayo.
