Khadija, who is also an engineer, is the first daughter and third child of her parents.

Her father, Alhaji Ibrahim Katsina Isa, was a retired custom officer, while her mother, Hajia Fatima, passed away during active service as a custom officer.

Khadija is popularly called Alhaja, a name she got after she returned from Saudi Arabia at the age of 3 with her grandmother, Alhaja Salamatu
Akewushola, who was a successful business woman from whom she inherited her business acumen.

She got her bachelor degree in civil and water resources engineering from University of Maiduguri, Borno state.

Khadija also obtained certificate of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), as well as Council for the Registration of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) certificate.

She also enrolled for various courses which have earned her different certificates in project management, entrepreneurship, business model innovation, and human resources resources from reputable institutions including University of California, University of Virginia, Duke University, Rice University, and University of Minnesota, all in the United States of America (USA).

Currently, Khadija is studying at the Business School of Netherlands for her MBA program.

She greatly believes in prayers and hard work.

Khadija is highly courageous and adventurous, intelligent, a leader worthy of emulation, humble, creative, jovial, and well
connected.

She is a good ambassador of Islam, women, and Nigeria in general.

Khadija, as an adventurous being, has visited many countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

She is a role model to many.
