It’s my earnest desire for the tribunal to do the needful before May 29th because it’s a day everyone has been waiting for.
The President spoke Tuesday night in Abuja at the dinner organized for him by the Nigerian Armed Forces.
The event is part of the activities for the dedication ceremony on May 29th.
Buhari, who spoke up and apologized for being late, said, Please I would like to deviate from the prepared speech.
I sincerely apologize for keeping you waiting.
I can hardly stand the pressure.
I look forward to the next six days.
However, Buhari urged the military and other security agencies in the country to remain resolute amid the security challenges plaguing the country.
The president, who paid tribute to the military’s efforts in the country’s ongoing war on terrorism, said the military must not rest on its oars until the uncertainty is overcome.
He said: The opening of the officers’ mess is a step in line with this policy.
For me, the regimental dinner organized for the occasion is of great importance, as it gives me another opportunity to speak positively about the past, present, and future of our armed forces.
Please allow me to commend our military for their loyalty, craftsmanship, dedication, and selfless service to our beloved nation.
