In a statement posted on his verified Facebook page and featured in a video, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje highlighted the plight of the Igbo people, emphasizing their marginalization and the distress faced by their fellow citizens. He criticized the lack of positive actions taken by the government in response to these issues.
The prophet further addressed the outcome of the recent presidential election, accusing the authorities of stealing the mandate of the Nigerian people. He also expressed dissatisfaction with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), claiming that they treated the Igbo population unfairly and without any mercy. According to him, a new government is set to be inaugurated within 24 hours.
Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje warned that if Tinubu assumes the presidency despite not winning the election, Nigeria will witness a significant fight. He argued that this outcome would be met with resistance as it would defy the will of the people.
