In line with his promise to always be the pillar of the APC in Osun State, Alhaji Oyetola has been acting up to his pledge as he has, all along, been the financier of the party in the state.
According to the Osun State Acting Chairman of the APC, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party’s Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo today, the former Governor Oyetola has been of a tremendous assistance to the party despite the fact that the party is not in government.
Lawal disclosed that the moral, financial and fatherly assistance of the APC by Oyetola has been propelling and oiling the smooth operation of the party in the state.
In the words of the state acting chairman: “Alhaji Oyetola is a wonderful leader of our party who has been the reason why the administration of the party is sailing smoothly without hitches.
“In order to show the extent of his happiness towards the swearing-in, the immediate-past state Governor Gboyega Oyetola has willingly sponsored the celebration across Osun State and the trips of some of the stakeholders of the party to the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Alhaji Kashim Shettima as President and Vice-President respectively in Abuja.
“The inauguration of both Asiwaju Tinubu and Alhaji Shettima as the President and Vice-President is slated for tomorrow, Monday, May 29, 2023 at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
“The ex-governor has released a substantial amount of money for the celebration of the inauguration in each of the nine federal constituencies in the state in the region of one million naira per constituency.
“The former governor has also magnanimously sponsored so many chieftains and leaders of our party to the presidential inauguration in Abuja.
