The state PDP who condemned the move Further described the action as being against the will of the Osun people and the Appeal Court Judgment which ruled in favour of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

It would be recalled that On March 24, 2023, the Appeal Court sitting in Abuja affirmed Adeleke as the duly elected governor of Osun State in the July 16, 2022, gubernatorial election.

This was after the Osun Gubernatorial Election Petition Tribunal on Friday, January 27, 2023, declared Adegboyega Oyetola, the APC gubernatorial candidate the winner of the gubernatorial election and directed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue Oyetola with a Certificate of Return.

Adekunle said, “Notwithstanding the fact that it is within their inalienable right to seek redress in court according to the laws of the land, we want to emphatically tell them that, this is an effort in futility, a waste of time, and an unproductive adventure for them…..CONTINUE READING
