Ibrahim Jibrin made this recollection while being interviewed on Arise television few hours ago.
Quoting the original statement released on Twitter by Ibrahim Jibrin, he said; “I think if you recall the very first press conference after the declaration of results, there was something Peter Obi said during that conference.
He made it categorically clear that he is a veteran in reclaiming stolen mandates through the courts and that this is what was going to happen again”.
“That was actually a very good move on his part because it calmed his people down and it gave them some confidence and a lot of them have continued to look to the adjudication process with hope, regardless of the fact that the declared winner of that election will be sworn into office in a few days from now.
So, the Obidients, as it were, have kept their eyes on the Judiciary with some level of hope that the decision will swing in their favor.”
