Popular Journalist Wins Lawsuit About Tinubu’s Records Amid Peter Obi, Atiku’s Supreme Court Hopes

The journalist noted that he filed the suit in conjunction with Aaron Greenspan of Plainsite earlier this year.

On his official X platform, Hundeyin wrote: “Earlier this year, I sued 5 US government agencies in conjunction with Aaron Greenspan of Plainsite, for their refusal to honour FOIA requests regarding the contents of the files they maintain on Bola Ahmed Tinubu. On Friday I was informed that they will comply with the FOIA.”

This is believably of the advantage of the 2023 presidential candidates: Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar who have headed to the Supreme Court to challenge Tinubu’s election and Tribunal victory.

Interestingly, Hundeyin’ s efforts have now yielded gains, with reports now saying that the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says it is ready to start releasing over 2, 500 documents relating to President Bola Tinubu’s activities in the country since 1970.

According to Peoples Gazette, the American law enforcement institution said from next month, October 2023, it will start releasing the documents which is expected to contain more details about Tinubu’s alleged drug dealing and his Chicago State University certificate that allegedly female as the gender.

A court document sighted by the publication reads: ” FBI has identified a total of approximately 2500 pages potentially responsive to FOIA requests 1553430-00 and 1587544-000,” the U. S. body said in a status report docketed on September 11 at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia in Washington, D. C. FBI plans a processing schedule of 500 pages per month, with an initial release anticipated by the end of October 2023. ”

More worrisome for Tinubu is the fact that the U. S. State Department, Internal Revenue Service, and Drug Enforcement Administration have all indicated readiness to turn over thousands of pages of his records in October.

The US Central Intelligence Agency also said it was collating records of Mr Tinubu for release in compliance with the law….CONTINUE READING
