Shehu Sani, who noted that the same United States has invited President Bola Tinubu to ring the closing bell of the NASDAQ (National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) on Wednesday, September 20, said the US has ‘equally appeased the opposition and pleased the ruling party’.

In a post on X, the former Senator wrote: “The America that is releasing documents on the President is the same America inviting him to New York to ring the NASDAQ bell. They equally appeased the opposition and pleased the ruling party.”

Meanwhile, according to Peoples Gazette, the FBI said from next month, October 2023, it will start releasing the documents which is expected to contain more details about Tinubu’s drug dealing and his Chicago State University certificate that has female as the gender.

A court document sighted by the publication reads: “FBI has identified a total of approximately 2500 pages potentially responsive to FOIA requests 1553430-00 and 1587544-000,” the U.S. body said in a status report docketed on September 11 at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C. “FBI plans a processing schedule of 500 pages per month, with an initial release anticipated by the end of October 2023.”

More worrisome for Tinubu is the fact that the U.S. State Department, Internal Revenue Service, and Drug Enforcement Administration have all indicated readiness to turn over thousands of pages of his records in October.

The US Central Intelligence Agency also said it was collating records of Mr Tinubu for release in compliance with the law.

This development comes after the presidential election tribunal ruled on Wednesday that Nigeria’s main opposition parties failed to prove claims of electoral malpractice against the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) in February’s disputed elections….CONTINUE READING
