He further stated that since 2016, we have convinced the national judiciary council to allow live court broadcasts to the Nigerian public as demanded by the Nigerian constitution.

I personally have a letter that was addressed to me by the National Judicial Council where we agreed with the opposition and contended that it is in the interest of the judges if ordinary Nigerians are able to watch court procedures, he said.

According to him, it is in the interest of the judges and judiciary if ordinary Nigerians are allowed and able to watch court procedures at home and not think that there is one element or secret guiding the court procedures.
