The tribunal replies, postponing the petition. Akin Olujimi, the attorney for Tinubu, informed the tribunal that their response includes a request for the petition to be dismissed due to claims that it is without merit.

Therefore, according to the Daily Trust newspaper, the presidential election petitions tribunal postponed the pre-hearing till Thursday, May 11.

The Premium Times article further confirmed that Justice Haruna Tsamani, the panel’s chairman, urged parties to outline the issues for resolution before adjourning the petition.
