Outside the Court of Appeal, as the petitions were considered, campaigners from a variety of organisations gathered to demand that the justices rule equitably.
At the same time, Asari Dokubo, the former head of Nigeria’s Ijaw Youth Council, brought a group of young people from the Niger Delta to the capital city of Abuja.
Asari Dokubo informed reporters that the primary reason for their journey to Abuja was to preserve Tinubu’s mandate from the majority of Nigerians.
Many Nigerians, he said, have flown to Abuja to defend the mandates freely given to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Asari Dokubo went on to argue that while democracy allows minorities to be heard, the majority is always correct. As a result, they intended to stay in the courtroom until the present session ended…..CONTINUE READING
