The new song “YAKUBU” is about the just concluded 2023 election which took place on the 25th of February in Nigeria, Falz and Vector join forces to send a message to the chairman of INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission).
The foremost rappers had subsequently launched an open verse challenge permitting netizens to jump on the jam.
Joining the challenge, Lateef Adedimeji took to his Instagram page to drop rap his rap verse.
He took the challenge the extra mile as he rapped in Yoruba with humor.
He captioned the video with, “Who be @falzthebahdguy and @vectorthaviper where I Dey ? Lyrics Dey ground make una hire me now o I don vex sef , make I do my own Mr Yakubu challenge .
In a video posted on his Instagram page, Lateef Adedimeji could be seen dancing to the popular Mr. Yakubu challenge, a trend that started on social media and has since gone viral. However, it was his statement after the dance that caught the attention of many.
