In her statement, she said, “Seeing this whole thing, it’s just making me feel some Nigerians used to do somehow. 5 million naira is just 5000 dollars, in my dollar account, I have more than 5000 dollars that I’m not using.
Rejecting five million naira is nothing, because it is something I can make in the comfort of my home, and I don’t need to open my door before I can make five million naira. A lot of people are seeing it as a big deal, and it was so funny that I just kept on laughing.”
