However, one user didn’t take kindly to discovering that Schwarzenegger kept his blue verification tick. During his regular interactive sessions with fans on Twitter, Schwarzenegger had to address an angry fan who threatened to block him if he didn’t drop his Twitter Blue subscription. However, the bodybuilding icon had a witty reply for the angry fan.
The angry fan couldn’t find a response
The Twitter user noticed that the Hollywood action icon still had his blue tick during his latest tweet session. Schwarzenegger had replied to a fan who thanked the five-time Mr. Universe for helping him become fitter. However, the user replied to Arnold’s tweet and said, “Arnold, drop your blue check. I don’t want to have to block you like the rest.”
The user’s tweet implied that he was on a mission to block people followed who didn’t lose their verification icon. However, the seven-time Mr. Olympia had a befitting reply for the angry fan. “We bought it to post the 12-minute video I made to appeal to people on a hateful path,” wrote the Terminator actor. Schwarzenegger’s reply was a subtle reminder of the message he conveyed to millions through a video in March that a path of hate never leads to success.
“I’d do it again because that video reached 22 million people here,” added the 75-year-old. However, Schwarzenegger also implied that the user was on a fruitless pursuit and wished him happiness. “You don’t have to do anything, but I hope whatever you choose makes you happy,” Schwarzenegger said. Another fan jumped to Arnie’s defense and demeaned the angry Twitter user, but Arie was having none of it.

The Austrian Oak’s goal on social media is to raise awareness of the importance of wellness and spread positivity. He also promoted his newsletter and podcast to help people reach their fitness goals. So when another fan left a demeaning comment on the angry user’s post Schwarzenegger stepped in.
