After six months of working at a house helping a family where the boss was a pastor and the wife was a teacher, she noticed that the boss had started making moves. He would find her in the kitchen and touch her inappropriately.
One day, he returned home around 11 am and asked her to serve him tea. When she placed it on the table, she felt insecure with him in the house and went outside. She used to take lunch to the kids at school. When she re-entered the house, the boss ran and held her hands. Luckily, his phone rang when he was trying to check who was calling, and she managed to run outside.
She went to a neighbor’s house and explained what happened. She was offered a phone to call the wife and tell her what happened. Shockingly, the wife was harsh on her. She asked her why she was with a man in their house. That’s when Shiru learned the boss lied to his wife to avoid being caught.
The wife believed her husband and kicked Shiru out that evening, despite her explaining what had happened. Two months later, she went to apologize to her after she caught him sleeping with the maid they employed after her.
