A heartbreaking video has recently surfaced on the internet, showing a primary school teacher alongside his pupils pleading for government intervention due to the deteriorated state of their school building.
In the distressing footage, the male teacher gives viewers an insight into the decrepit state of Osaretin Primary School. The teacher lamented, “Na Osaretin primary school be this. The school don destroy finish. Government nor even dey do anything. The teachers them be they manage primary three; na only building for primary 4, 5, 6 remain, even the primary three, that one don even destroy finish.”

In a passionate appeal, he urged, “Abeg we dey beg, make our children go kneel down. All the children, make una kneel down. Make una beg government.” indicating the urgency and severity of their predicament.
The video has since sparked widespread controversy across social media platforms. As of now, no government official from the state, including Governor Obaseki, has addressed the pressing issue.
