During the operation, twelve individuals identified as miscreants were apprehended for sleeping on the bridge and within the openings beneath the Ikate Elegushi bridge. The pedestrian bridge has since been cleaned by personnel from the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) and is now deemed safe for public use.
