Recall the university’s Governing Council last year had approved the appointment of the pioneer Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Kayode Ijaduola, Registrar Oluwole Dada, Liberian Dr Adedokun Ojelabi and others.
But in a twist to the appointments, a new Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Libribrian have today been appointed by Governor Adeleke.
The new appointees, said to be card carrying members of the Peoples Democratic Party, are Professor Taiwo Asaolu ( VC) who headed the University of Ilesa Review Committee set up by Senator Adeleke some months ago to address all outstanding issues for the eventual take off of the university; Funso Ojo (Registrar), Amobi Ogunsipe (Liberian)
