He said his appointment as Commissioner by Governor Francis Nwifuru has united the community.
Nwali who stated this during the thanksgiving service and reception he organized following his appointment by the governor noted that PDP, APGA, and Labour Party members that graced the occasion apart from members of his political party, APC was an indication that the people of his community have become one.
He commended Governor Nwifuru for finding him worthy of the appointment as Commissioner, adding that no one could have made him Commissioner except the governor.
“There is no more opposition again in Amaeka as you can see in this mu occasion. We have the PDP, APGA, Labour Party, and APC members all here, these are our families.
“The opposition we ever witnessed around, was the opposition borne out of the fact that the leaders felt that the only time they will appreciate our people is during the election.
“Ours is that during and after the election, we will do good in a way that while I am sleeping in my house, we will return votes of Ameka and they will tell me oga, we returned these votes to show you that we are ready and we are with you.
“The issue in Ezza land is that past leaders never believed there is money in the government. We are coming in to right the wrongs. If they give us money, we will make it useful to our people.
“If I leave office as Commissioner and I don’t have money, God will prosper us. Most of the reasons why we are still strong are that we have sworn that we will never eat from the poor. Instead of eating from the poor, we will eat from the rich.
“What are sensitizing our people, our people need to be part of government and benefit from government.
“I am grateful to His Excellency, the Governor for finding me worthy to serve in his administration. I am happy because as a very young man at 36, I became a Commissioner in Ebonyi. This can only be possible under the administration of Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru.
“I know that I cannot disappoint the Governor because ours is to deepen democracy and good governance to our people in Ebonyi. Our is to be sure that our people are served better. We will never disappoint on this mandate.
“Instead of me to disappoint with this mandate, I will declare my salary as a Commissioner and make sure that all of us share it because before becoming Commissioner, we have been doing very well and after Commissionership, we will continue to do well.
“There is nobody else that would have appointed me Commissioner if not our dear governor, Francis Nwifuru. He defied all odds to give me this position and I promised him that I will do the job well”, he stated….CONTINUE READING
