According to coach Biffo, while attending to a question on if he would be willing to take up National Team job, “Why not? It will be an opportunity for me to contribute my own little quota to the development of our football. I am always open to do that. I am always available to embrace National team job, it’s not about the money, it’s that interest of being a Nigerian. It’s has always been a long term dream to coach the National Team. Like I have said early, National Team job is not for any particular person, it is for everybody and at the same time is for nobody. It depends on the candidate NFF deems fit in order to achieve their aims.”

The former Kwara United added, “It’s going to be a privilege if my name is shortlisted for National team job. It shows that I am been recognized among the best, so, who eventually is been selected to take charge of the team is just privileged not his right. If peradventure I’m been considered fit enough to coach the team, why not.

“It shouldn’t be about the issue of the fact that I want to coach the team, it’s about who the Federation deemed fit enough to handle the team and will achieve great things together.

“It’s definitely going to be a welcome idea as I don’t have any other country that I always believed in other than Nigeria.

“Some people might think a particular coach deserves to be selected/appointed but he might not get the necessary support at that particular, so if such missed out, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t deserve to be there. However, everybody has their time. And any time we have the opportunity to be in charge we should try and make significant success that people will live to remember. You can see a coach like coach Manu Garba, nobody can forget him because of his accomplishments with the National team. I personally respect him because he has done so much for Nigeria especially in the aspect of Youth development.

“That is what every coach should look forward to do, it shouldn’t be about what you are going to gain when you are in charge, it should be about what you are going to give to the National Team so that your name will always be remembered.”
