But life, as it often does, had other plans. Born an only child, Kasuku faced the heartbreaking loss of his mother at a tender age. He found solace and support with his grandmother and extended family, who ensured he had an education. Yet, the pull of the priesthood remained strong.
Then came high school. A new chapter unfolded, and with it, a new awakening. Kasuku, in his own words, “started looking at ladies.” The admiration he felt for them, their kindness and beauty, bloomed into something profound. He realized, with a bittersweet pang, that the life of a priest, with its vow of celibacy, wouldn’t be a path he could fully walk.
Today, Kasuku navigates a different kind of calling. He is a father, a partner, a man building a life filled with love and laughter. While the official wedding bells haven’t rung yet, he promises they will one day. His family, his precious private sanctuary, is rarely seen in the public eye. He cherishes their privacy, choosing to share only glimpses of the joy they bring him.
