The late Mohbad’s wife’s sister refutes allegations, saying her mother was a hero when the late Mohbad was being tormented. She said that Naira Marley’s mother had made unsuccessful attempts to mediate a peace settlement between Naira Marley and Mohbad, and that despite Mohbad’s police complaint against Naira Marley, nothing had changed and the bullying continued.
In her words,”To everyone saying what step did my mother take when Mohbad was being beaten, my mother and Mohbad’s dad and mum went to Agungi on two different occasions to meet Naira Marley’s mum. They begged her to talk to her son to forgive and leave Mohbad alone.
This was done after the police refused to do anything about the report MOH made to them. Despite going to her to beg her, they were still be*ting MOH. If I lie, May God judge me.”
