In the video, the soldiers could be seen enjoying what appeared to be a show, while the crowd shouted, ‘Tinubu, the drunk’.
The Nigerian leader has since been treated contemptuously by the people of Niger Republic because of his interference in the military coup in their country.

Recall that after threatening to invade the country, President Bola Tinubu had placed sanctions on Niger.
Nigeria had also cut the electricity supply of its northern neighbour, a move which sparked anti-Tinubu protests on the streets of Niamey with demonstrators holding posters and banners which read ‘Ebola Tinubu’.
Few months ago, President Bola Tinubu ordered fresh sanctions through the Central Bank of Nigeria on entities, and individuals related to and involved with the military junta in Niger Republic.
