Dressed in a stylish white shirt, nude maxi skirt, and matching heels, Celine was escorted by her eldest son, 23 year old Rene-Charles. She appeared to be in high spirits as she took to the stage at the packed Sphere Stadium, jokingly admitting to the crowd that she is “not even a hockey mom.”
The six-time Grammy winner was there to announce the Montreal Canadiens draft pick, adding a dramatic pause before announcing Ivan Demidov’s name. A known Canadiens fan, Celine seemed delighted to be part of the National Hockey League’s big night.
This public appearance is significant, especially considering an insider previously revealed to the US Sun that Celine “barely socialized” outside her close circle of friends and family due to her health issues.

In a particularly emotional moment from the documentary, Celine is seen tearfully discussing how SPS has severely affected her renowned singing voice.
She emotionally revealed: “When I try to breathe my lungs are fine it’s what in front of my lungs are so rigid because of SPS (Stiff Person Syndrome).”
A subsequent attempt to sing was met with distress as her voice emerged fractured and strained.
