The popular businessman has advised Nigerians to ensure they steer clear of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

“Nigerians won’t like the kind of stress EFCC put suspects through during trial”, Cubana Chief Priest explained.

The nightlife king wrote:

This is coming after reports emerged that he had agreed to an out-of-court settlement with EFCC.

A Federal High Court in Lagos fixed June 5 for a report of settlement in the case against Cubana Chief Priest, over alleged abuse of the naira.

The EFCC had on April 17 arraigned Cubana Chief Priest on three counts of spraying and tampering with the naira notes during a social event at Eko Hotel in Lagos State.

Cubana Chief Priest had pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted bail in the sum of N10 million.

Justice Kehinde Ogundare then adjourned the case until May 2, for a hearing of the preliminary objection and trial.
