Mr. Nzekwe described as unfortunate recent developments that turned citadels of learning to environment rift with corrupt practices, maladministration and diversion of public funds.

He urged members of the academia to endeavor to change the current negative narrative regarding the quality of education in Nigeria, adding that all hands must be on deck to enable the Commission to win the onerous task of ridding the country of corruption.

Responding, the Vice Chancellor University of Ilorin, Professor Wahab Egbewole SAN, represented by Professor Omotesho, commended the Economic and Financial Crime Commission’s efforts to ensure probity and transparency in both the private and public sector in the State.
