Former Super Eagles striker Jonathan Akpoborie invites foreign doctors to carryout free checkups, surgeries in Ajegunle

Jonathan Akpoborie, former Super Eagles striker has brought foreign doctors to perform free checkups and surgeries in Nigeria….CONTINUE READING…CONTINUE READING
Venue for the checkups and surgeries is at No. 6, Cardoso street, Ajegunle.
It will kickoff from 1st October to 13th October 2023 and time 8.30am to 6pm daily.
Akpoborie also did the same in his state Delta in 2022.
The 54-year-old made his debut for the Super Eagles in 1995 and played up to 2001, scored four goals in 13 appearances.
He was a member of the the Super Eagles squad to the 1992 and 2000 where they won bronze and silver respectively.
His first goal for the Super Eagles was against Mexico at the 1995 US Gold Cup with the Mexicans winning 2-1.
Akpoborie started his professional career at Julius Berger, before moving to USA.
In 1990, he joined 1. FC Saarbrücken of German second division, had spells with FC Carl Zeiss Jena, Stuttgart Kickers, for whom he scored 37 goals in one season, and Waldhof Mannheim, before finally joining top-flight FC Hansa Rostock in 1995.
After spending two years at Rostock, he moved to their Bundesliga rivals VfB Stuttgart and then VfL Wolfsburg in 1999.
Akpoborie finished his playing career at Saarbrückenin 2002….CONTINUE READING
