Over the years, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, alias Blackface, has accused various singers, including his former colleague 2face Idibia, Olamide, Asake, and others, of copying his compositions.
According to a recent post on Blackface’s Instagram page, Shallipopi has joined the list of musicians accused of copying a song from the iconic vocalist.
He wondered if the new generation artists are unable to properly release a song without incorporating his sound or melody in it.
He wrote: “Una mean say if them no copy my sound or my melody them no go get song to sing? Ok I don make remix for una so make una better abandon this una project! ”
