Anene gave the charge in Lokoja, Kogi State during the passing out parade of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) Recruit 2023. He congratulated the newly recruited officers, reminding them of the service’s expectation of their loyalty.

The comptroller also reminded them that the Nigeria Immigration Service has an entrenched system for dealing with disciplinary cases as well as a reward system for officers who distinguished themselves.

He also stressed that the service was founded on discipline and obedience to hierarchy, urging them to align themselves with the entrenched tradition at all times. About 197 personnel were recruited in Kogi State.
