Sometimes, I have to beg my friends for money, which embarrasses me. My dad used to support me and the kids, but he remarried, and his new wife is controlling him, so he stopped helping me. I had to send my children to an Islamic Western school, but we struggled.
A kind family member helped me whenever I needed it, but recently, she confronted me and demanded repayment for all the money she had given me. I had to return the money when I met someone on TikTok who said he would help me if I slept with him. I couldn’t bring myself to do that.
I got angry when my daughter told her father she was hungry, and he hit her. I took the kids and went back to my parents’ house. My husband never came after us. I stayed at my parents’ house for almost a year. My family convinced me to go back to my husband because of the kids. I went back because I didn’t have a choice.
