Nampeera Video: How Bar Owners Are Cracking Down on Sex in Toilets After Viral Video

Kampala, Uganda – A viral video showing a celebrity couple having sex in the toilet of a popular bar in Kampala has sparked outrage and prompted several bar owners to warn their customers against such behaviour….CONTINUE READING
The video, which was leaked online last week, showed Christine Nampeera, a sister of renowned DJ Roger, and her boyfriend Barasha, a musician, engaging in sexual activities in a tiny public restroom at Kenjis Bar.
The video caused a stir on social media, with many users condemning the couple for their lack of decency and respect for themselves and others.
Nampeera later apologised for her conduct on her Twitter account, saying it was a private affair and that she was sorry for the impact it had on her family, friends, boyfriend, and employers.
However, her apology did not seem to appease the public, as more videos of young girls having sex at Kenjis Bar surfaced online, raising questions about the safety and morality of girls at Kampala’s nightspots.
It is feared that some girls may be intoxicated with alcohol and drugs before being abused by sex predators who take advantage of their vulnerability.
Some bar owners have taken measures to prevent such incidents from happening at their premises, by printing notices warning their customers not to have sex in the bathrooms.

Mzikii Media understands that several bars in Kabalagala and Najjera are also alerting their staff to take note of such sexual practices and report them to the management to protect their brands.
Dr. Blair Kiiza, a distinguished medical practitioner, has also warned the public against sexual activities in toilets, saying they risk contracting diseases.
He said that having sex in public restrooms exposes people to a higher risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs) due to the unhygienic environment.
He also said that the transmission of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like chlamydia, gonorrhoea, and even HIV is more likely in toilets, where people may not use barriers like condoms or dental dams or clean up properly afterward.
He advised people to engage in sexual activities in private, clean, and comfortable spaces, where they can practice safe sex and protect themselves and their partners from infections….CONTINUE READING
