Some prominent people in the state and across the Southwest region had a closed door meeting with President Tinubu to intervene in the crisis arising from the governor’s ill health. Fridays meeting was supposed to declare him incapacitated and swear in his Deputy Governor, Aiyedatiwa.
Infact, The Ondo State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) supporters have given Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu a 72-hour ultimatum to transmit power to his deputy, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa or face dire consequences.
