Lobi Stars slipped to third place on the NPFL table after Alex Aghahowa and Douglas Achiv scored a goal each to hand Shooting Stars the three points in a pulsating encounter played on Tuesday, April 16 at Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.
In his post-match thoughts, Agagbe hailed his players for showing true character saying that he has shifted attention to the next game against Bendel Insurance.
“I want to thank my boys for the character they showed. Sometimes your game plan won’t go the way you plan as a coach, so today I have to take responsibility for the loss because they have played very well.
“We are looking forward to hosting Insurance FC of Benin at Lafia City Stadium. We have put this one aside, and we will get home to prepare for our next tie.”
