Osun Park Managers Reject NURTW’s Return

The confrontation escalated to gunfire, with Wakili reportedly stabbed during the altercation.

Addressing the media on Thursday, the OSTMS Secretary, Mukaila Popoola, flanked by other members, condemned the attack.

According to Popoola, the assailants were suspended members advocating for NURTW’s return to Osun State.

In response to the unrest, Governor Ademola Adeleke warned the transport workers against actions that could plunge the state into chaos.

The governor instructed the Osun Commissioner for Transportation to convene an urgent reconciliation meeting among the conflicting factions within the transport sector.
